Ok I brought my car to my mechanic cuz it didnt pass smog and he had to put in a new cat and a new EGR valve. He said that the car was knocking and pinging hella loud and that the car was set to idle high. he wouldnt tell me where it was but he said the IAC or something was set wrong and something else was trying to close it so that it would idle lower. Does any1 know what this is? I guess he thought i tampered with it but i dont even know what the part is? so he said he also got rid of the pinging and that i should feel more HP. the car is a lot quieter without the high flow cat and of course idling high. anyways the car will pass smog so its all good.
