Oil spraying from pass. side of the engine!!!
Oil spraying from pass. side of the engine!!!
Almost got the car back completely together and I started it up. The lifters quit ticking after about 30 seconds when they pumped up with oil, but I looked under the car and oil was running rapidly down from the Y pipe. I crawled under the car and it appears its spraying out near the Knock Sensor ,cause the header pipe is getting soaked right there and its running down. I thought that the knock sensor held Cooant in? Are there any oil lines or something near there I may have busted, or torn during the Header install. I felt behins the intake and the Valve covers and its dry, so what could it be?

Yea, I thought about it and it didnt look like there was alot of oil around it, but then again I kept getting oil drops in my eyes when I was looking too
. I'll let it run again today and see if I can pin-point it, but Im getting so frustrated with this car Im considering just parting it out, as its been down for 5 weeks now

Re: Oil spraying from pass. side of the engine!!!
Just found it!! Its nothing more than a crack in my oil pan
!! Could there be a piece of my cam, or crankshaft that busted and fell in there and caused the pan to crack? It is cracked ******d, meaning that it looks as if something on the inside pushed it out. I just had to replace 3 lifters that were cracked and once I put it all together I still here something clacking and now this

You replaced 3 cracked lifters, but don't know why they were cracked? Coupling that with your oil pan problem and the noise you still hear, I would say you need to tear the whole thing down.
