Oil smoking from valve cover filter
Oil smoking from valve cover filter
Finally have my car running now and it idles fine haven't driven it yet but as I let it idle smoke was consistently shooting from the valve cover filter, no oil leaking just smoke. This is a fairly new motor I put about 600 miles on the motor without the charger and this is the first time its idled with the charger for more than 5 minutes so I'm asking if this is normal, or do my rings still need time to get seated because of the extra pressure from the blower I'm not sure how much boost this thing is actually putting out should be around 12 I have a boost gauge but there's a couple other things I wanna do before I drive it there are a couple sensors too close to the headers I need to re route.
Re: Oil smoking from valve cover filter
I thought it might be burnoff from my dirty hands but it actually looks like its coming out of the filter.I moved those wires out of the way and took it around the block checked it again but it was too dark to tell how much was comin out I'll check again tomorrow.
