I use the Maxlife too, but I use the synthetic blend. It's worked for me, my Buick has 245,000 miles on it, and I've been using since it had 86,000. I also use it in my Camaro and suburban. For the price ($14.00/5quarts at wal mart), you can't beat it.

I have used Valvoline in the past with no issues, or have heard of any problems..... Everyone has thier own favorite... But for now, I use a German synthetic oil from LiquiMoly.....

I've always used MaxLife without any problems. I know people that use different oils that haven't had any problems either. A lot of it is a matter of preference but I'm stubborn and it would take something going wrong with my oil and messing things up to change.
