oil pump problem?--with pics

does anyone have a picture of a stock oil pump mounted to the block, or any oil pump for that matter. i think i got screwed on my oil pump. i told my machine shop to get me an oil pump when the done my machine work they got me the melling stock replacement m155. the problem is when its mounted to the block flush the drive shaft is angled in toward the pump at a good angle and i'm worried it will cause destruction somewhere sometime. the driveshaft i got for it takes some angle out of it because its a little loose and the oil pump drive goes on alright. am i freaking out for nothing or should i get a another new pump. oh yeah my pickup is welded to the bottom of the pump, so are there any melling pumps that the m155 bottom would bolt to???????? this suckssssssss
edit- for pics---

Here's a couple pics - they're not that great - maybe you should post a pic of what yours looks like.

It's a Melling replacement pump. You're right it looks a little funny in the pics, but I didnt see anything unusual about it when I was working on it.

My pump is the same as what yours looks like - it's from Summit

good enough i guess. i would just hate for that to cause problems down the road, then have to pull the engine to replace it. i saw a post the other day a couple people are having their pump drives cracking around the mounting flange, possible caused by the angle things are at with the angle the driveshaft is at??????

the biggest/most common thing I've heard is using a high volume pump, running heavy/thick oil and spinning the rpm's up - then the pump drives are failing

That cracking was probably referring to new Melling castings that are thinner than they used to be. There is nothing wrong with the angle. They have always been that way.
