oil pump drive gear question

is there a spacer that goes on the oil pump frive gear when bloting it to the block?

if it is sticking up then you don't have it lined up right and it is not in all the way

I've never seen one on stock 350 OP drives. Either Moroso or Milodon sold a pump spacer to lower the pump along with a matching DS, never was very popular. Danny Mc
