I did a search and didn't come up with anything...

I'm putting this new 355 together and can't find the damn bolt for the oil pump drive anywhere. I'd like to avoid ordering it if I can, I mean it's got to be a fairly common size - anyone happen to have any idea on what bolt specs (size/pitch) are?

 

Arp makes both a regular and extended lenght for high volume pumps.

Thanks dude - I'll check that out if I can't dig up something locally..

Just to be clear, we're both talking about the drive (stump) you drop in the back of the block there, right? I just need the bolt that holds it down.

 

IIRC, its 5/16-18x3/4, it has a washer too, you can just go to a hardware store for one, get a grade 8, and use locktite as well

 

I use ARP cam bolts in the oil pump drive just to be extra sure
