Are the oil pressure senders different on the 94 and 96 LT1's??

Just fired up the wife's vert and the oil pressure reads 0. I just changed the oil and it is full. The engine had great pressure in the other car it was in. The donor car was a 96 and the wife's car is a 94. Are the pressure senders between the 2 years different??

Yes, the wire is plugged in. I am wondering if maybe the gauge cluster is just messet up. I cam up with 2 part numbers that were used on the LT1. 10201491 and 22578692 in 94 and the 10201491 in all other years.

How many wires should be coming out of the plug for the sender? Mine only has one.

yep thats all it should have. You're good. I'd try to swap senders before ripping the gauge apart....

Unplug the connector from the sender and your gauge should read high pressure (key or engine ON). That should tell you if the gauge is working.
