oil pressure question

Ok, it idles good at about 40-50. When its warms and idles its 20. WHen i go WOT it climbs up to 40 or so at 3500rpm then drops to 20 at the redline. It doesnt seem normal.

Re: oil pressure question

That's common for the oil pressure to be @ 20 at idle and increase from there. The drop at high rpms doesn't seem normal though.

What med school u going to? I am starting in Jan. myself.

Re: oil pressure question

Ok; I have a sister in law that went to a DO school in OK because of a 25 MCAT. I only applied to my state so I don't know that much about other schools. **** luck with school.

Re: oil pressure question

All is normal except for dropping to 20 at redline. My oil pressure used to fluctuate under WOT throttle as the RPM's climbed. Try using some Mobil 1 0w40....... It helped clear up almost all of my fluctuation problem.
