Oil pressure problems on new motor HELP :)

I've got a problem with this new LT1 motor I've got in my 95Z.

Its got great oil pressure at idle and cruising around its fine. But when i get on it and it revs above 3k it drops to 0. Like a rock.

I'm using a stock pump with the milidon pan and pickup. This one: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10002_70568_-1

Any ideas? I'm at a loss.

Thanks!

Other details on the motor:
ZZ4 crank
Manley rods
JE blower pistons
Vortech S-trim

How much oil do you have in it? I had the same problem w/ that pan.

I've got the Milodon 30909 with matching Milodon pickup.

I tried running 6.5 quarts w/ that pan, windage made pressure drop like a rock.

I am running 5.5 quarts with a standard height filter and oil pressure has never dropped since.

That makes sense!

You may be my new best friend. :P

If it ever stops snowing I'll give that a try!

I can almost guarantee that's the problem.

Best of luck
