I have an oil leak by the intake manifold. New gaskets have been ordered. I heard that if you change the gasket, you may lose oil pressure? Is that true?

 

haha nope. That makes no sense at all.

 

Only if you do it while the car is running, lol.

Since you'll stop an oil leak, the only thing I see happening is gaining oil pressure, although that isn't likely.

Make sure you read a few threads on this issue about common mistakes and ways to prevent those from happening.
