oil pressure drops really low when car warms up

When the car is cold it starts right up and idles fine it has a LT4 conversion. When the car warms up it won't idles it stalls if you don't keep giving it gas the oil pressure drops real low.
thanks for any help you can give me in advance

Drops to zero and then stalls or stalls and then drops to zero? I know it's a trivial question, but that's kinda important. Keep in mind that once the idle drops down to a certain point, the oil pump is turning so slowly that it can't keep the pressure up. I would be willing to bet that if you can get the car to idle, you won't have the pressure problem. Try unplugging your MAF and see if it will idle.

Don't worry about the oil pressure until the car idles right. Was the oil pressure ok when it did idle right?

Your talking a rebuild. I'd say around $1500-$2000

After you installed the HotCam kit, did you get a tune? If not, it could be accounting for your idle problems in closed loop. (engine warm). As stated by many above, if the car won't idle, then you won't get oil pressure.

Also note, that if you live in one of the many areas of the country that are getting high temps above 100* right now, then chances are your oil is running hotter than usual and that will account for some loss of oil pressure as the oil loses viscosity as it gets hotter.

no I had it tuned dynoed and the oil pressure drops all the way down then goes up a little and pretty much just bounces up a little and then back to zero very confussing

It sounds like normal fluctuation when your idle drops down that low. The oil pressure isn't a concern until you get the idle issue fixed.
