Oil pressure dropping off at high rpm then recovering?

It didnt help me. Im to the point where i think im just going to run it. See what breaks if it does go i hope it just takes out the lower end and not my heads. Needless to say i will never buy a used engine ever again.

I imagine it helps, because the less oil climbing up the back of the engine, the less oil there is getting tangled in the crankshaft and having air whipped into it.

Anyways, in regards to the engine breaking, I wouldn't be too worried about it. My oil pressure drops to about 10 in 1st gear and 20 in 2nd gear. It's been running fine for over 60K, and I drive it like I stole it. I'm sure that a prolonged low pressure condition would not be good, but a pressure drop to 20-40psi for at most a few seconds isn't the end of the world.
