after the car is warm, at idle the oil press. is just above the red line but not yet to the white line. also the car feels like a dog down low, stumbles at very low rpms and wont spin the tires at all, will spin shifting into 2nd slightly. is my opti crap? and whys my oil pressure so low?

possibly your oil pressure sending unit is going out. i have the same problem as you. i got a new sending unit and this helped out a little bit. as for me, this is not the total problem. mine still goes down to about 10psi at idle. but this unit did help mine out. mine was also going down to the red zone. you might need to replace the oil pump too. they are not that expensive but may be challenging to replace. i have also been told that my oil pickup may be clogged. i have been told that these pickups may clog after a replacing an intake manifold gasket. i guess some of the excess sealant may get in the oil and clog the pickup. let us know if you find the problem.
