oil pan

What is that sensor thing in the oil pan on my 95 Z? It has broken and the low oil light comes on and off. I go to parts stores and they cant help me. (big suprise) Is this something that has to be dealer bought? Thanks

It's the low oil level sensor. GM part # 24507190.

I have 95Z28 also, replaced my sensor not long ago, it is a dealer item, where in Texas are you ?
