Oil leaking onto cat and burning...
I have found out some more about this oil leak I have. I am still trying to figure out if it is in fact the intake, but I do know that when I put the intake manifold back on I did not dimple or cut the surface I just layed the ultra copper on and bolted it down. Is that enough to make it leak? Now I have oil all on the underside of my car, I actually had to add oil a couple days ago.
Are there any other places that could leak that much oil? I am almost sure that the fittings for the blower feed are sealed because they used to leak until I sealed them with teflon tape. Are there any other fittings, or connections with oil that could be leaking? Otherwise it has to be the intake. I just cleaned the back of the intake so if I feel oil next time I drive I will know what it is.
Also, I am thinking intake manifold because it has a tendency to smoke the worst after a freeway drive.
