Wondering if any of you guys have blocked the bypass on yours off. I was thinking about putting in a stiffer spring in the oil pump for a few more psi, and have been considering blocking off the bypass with a plug. As light as the spring is and as old as they are I know that spring is getting weak, and I like filtering all of my oil anyway.

The car is used in cold climates sometimes so I dont want to forget and bust open an oil filter. Was also thinking about getting one of those oil filter magnets as well. Just an idea. You guys have any input on this?
