Oil FIll tube -- very loose why?

Oil FIll tube -- very loose why?

the oil fill tube that screws into the valve cover is very loose.. why? how do i fix it?

Tighten it back down. Just turn the whole tube by hand and it will get tight.

Are you saying that it won't get tight? The part that screws into the valve cover, or the top cap?

It's normal for the cap to slightly jiggle around.

the filler neck wont tighten. like its stripped or something. id like to get a new one if possible.

Yeah, sounds like the filler neck is busted or the valve cover is bent where the fill neck screws into it.

If the filler neck threads broke, I wonder where they went? Onto the rockers...?

well it was like that when i bought the car. i dont think anything went into the engine.
