Smile Oh...the sounds of my camaro!

I was wondering if you could give me some ideas of what these sounds could be...
1.) When I turn the car at low speeds, it almost feels as if my wheels are shuddering on and off the pavement. The car turns easily but makes a strange noise and vibration from the front two wheels...maybe the steering rack?
2.) When I go over speed bumps, humps, turn fast or whatever...the rear end makes a funny noise of almost like a spring is going...BOING. It is a very weird noise and I have no clue what it could be...maybe a spring...maybe a shock?
3.) When I turn the wheel real hard...i.e. like a slalom the front end make a high pitched screeching sound...really no clue on that one.

Let me know what you think so my FBODY doesn't sound like a one man band.

When I turn the wheel real hard, I also have the high piched screeching sound. It also happens when i do donughts or do a burn out....i am still contemplating what it could possibly be. (sorry that i am no help but i couldn't resist)

Hey, even though you don't have a solution...it is good to know that I'm not the only one. It's kinda like AA, when there are others with the same problem, yet they have no solution, it still makes you feel a little better you're not the only one

The noise ove Speed Bumps or similar situations is the spring moving. The rubber isolators shift a little.

That's what I was going to say. I hear the same thing every so often. Thought it was the springs.

I thought it could of been the springs...guess I need new ones. My main worry is the front end shuddering when turning at low rpms. It is such a weird noise...like the wheels are so unstable or like they are kind of skipping on and off the ground? Think it is the ps pump? I have to get it fixed a.s.a.p.

first for starters....

the loud scretch you hear when your turn a corner is your axle shaft comming out of the axle..your rotor closes the distance on your caliper and thats it you hear scrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeetch.

your c-clips are worn out inside your differential...replace these and your good to go..no more play in your axle shafts.

BTW you can verify this by jacking up the car and tugging on the rear wheels if they move more than 1/4 of an inch ..the clips are worn..

for seconds....

hte shutter you feel is in your suspension upfront... i suggest you take the car to tuffy or midias....NOT THE DEALERSHIP....

they have free testing and inspections and will fix your tie rod/ ball joints????? what ever is bad. i dont think its steering because the wheel would be hard to turn if the pump was going.

As for the springs in the back... a rubber retainter /puck might have fallen out..but i doubt it.... midias or tuffy will be able to find that problem or at least recognize it for you and you can fix that yourself!!!!

good luck

Thanks for the imput on the front suspension. The screetch I was refering to comes from the front right wheel. Were you talking about the rear screetching or the front screetching and the way to check was to was to check the rear wheel movements?
