Offroad pipe or something similar for a 97' Z28

SO I have a Z28, but it has that crappy exhaust with 2 cats on it. How might I go about puting an offroad pipe on, or making something similar to an offroad pipe. Should i just get a new y pipe, and new exhaust?

Summit catalog sells ORP's for as a replacement for '95-'97 F-bods with factory dual-cats by Stainlessworks...$199.00 I believe. Random Technology also sells one as well, but I haven't seen it in their online catalog, but T-Byrne Motorsports sells them.
