will mac 1 5/8" headers, off-road pipe and hooker cat-back sound good. will it be raspy or anything?
i hear so may people say so many different things its soo confusing. some say if u dont have a cat then it will sound like crap or raspy. other people say it sounds awesome with a straight pipe and not raspy.
can anybody shed any light on this. especially the people that run an off-road pipe with headers.

dont listen to anyone how says you will lose power....
did mine with 2 bolt flanges and 3inch pipe. looks good and when i take emmissions i bolt on the cat...then take it off when im done...
nice gain too

 

thats kinda what i thought and heard from alot of people that it doesn't sound raspy and sounds good. now i can see that if u just gut the cat and leave it there then it would sound raspy or crappy. a good cat costs too much i find anyway.
