I am thinking of running some octane boost by NOS with nitro methane in it.

Up here in Canada I can't get anything over 91 octane and want to see if it will make a difference. Just an experiment basically.

Has anyone tried the stuff and will it do anything??

From what I've heard, it won't make a difference. The number of points it will add is only equal to .X of octane. For example the booster adds up to 7 points, which on 91 octane would become 91.7 octane, not even 92.

 

you must likely won't see any change. It only rases the octane rating from 91 to about 91.5. Nos is good for 7 points, which is only go for .7 raise in octane. 1 point is equal to .1 in octane.
