Ok, My car is acting really funny latley. Last night I was driving my car and is running great, them it starts to act like it is cutting out on my and the exhaust is starting to pop real bad. then I rev on it a little and starts to run fine again for about 3 minutes and then it starts running like crap. I don't have any ideas I have a Brand new opti from Cromer (been on for about 2-3 months. New AC Declco plugs, I have a Msd Blaster Coil. OTVC Wire setup everything has less than 10,000 miles. The only thing that is not new on my setup is the the coil wire. Could this be the problem.
Remeber is stoped doing if totally for a short while yesterday. I don't have a check engine light or nothing.

Sounds almost exactly like the opti spark is going Sux you just got it.

 

Doesn't cromer have Warrenty on his opti's. Cuase I just put it on a few months ago.

 

i would believe it to be the opti....optis in the lt1 are unpredictable even when brand new...check for warantee

the same exact things u explained happened to me when my oti went....exhaust snapping etc

 

I had a similar problem and it was a bad o2 sensor...The car would act fine when the car was cold but as soon as I would romp on the gas it would start to stumble and hesitate. My idle also got really rough and my idle would surge as I was rolling with the clutch in.
