i just royally [edit] up my crank key that holds in place my 97's crank shaft position sensor plate. my question to anyone who has any input is if i have an OBDI conversion that i got from madz28 does the crankshaft positioning sensor even matter because i want to remove that plate that is now rattling around in there now. my car used to be obdII but now its obdI, thanks..

 

Nope don't need it. Toss it out and put in a double roller timing set and ELE. water pump as well..
