On the passenger side where the starter, knock sensor, and 02 sensor wires all come down, there is a 3 wire plug.....Is that the crank sensor plug?
If the low oil sensor is unplugged will the "low oil" stay on all of the time? and if so, can it be tuned out?
Thanks guys, btw this would be a 96-97 LT1 Camaro harness.

Is that plug/wiring long enough to reach the CPS? Then it probably is for the CPS (mine does not have one or I could tell you for sure).

The low oil plug has to be shorted pin to pin to turn off the light. There is no tuning involved, because it does not go to the computer.

I believe the wiring is long enough to go to the CPS. My OBD1 harness doesnt have it so I wasn't too concerned about it(Im putting a 95' OBD1 engine and PCM in a 96' car with the 96' harness)

So if I just put the 2 wires for the low oil sensor together then the light wont be on and everything will be fine? The light use to come on at random times, even if the oil was full. The new harness is missing that plug so thats why I'd rather just eliminate it........Thanks, Mike

Yes, just connect the two wires as stated.
