what are the differences between the OBD1 and OBD2 diagnostic connector under the dash? I'm doing a LSx swap into my 94 firebird and want to know if there's a way to retain the OBD2 diagnostic connector for HPTuners.

 

The number of pins and shape of the connectors are different for 94 obd1 cars vs. obd2 cars. If you get the whole engine harness for the ls1 i'd think it would contain the connector.

 

i havent gotten it yet, but ill remember to get that when i go to get the engine with wiring harness and PCM... it's coming out of a 2007 silverado.
