OBD1 knocksensor with OBD2

Im Fixin to do an OBD1 swap in my 96. While I was installing a new cam and long tubes I went ahead and got the OBD1 knock sensor. I still have the OBD2 computer though. Will it hurt anything to start it (assuming it will) and back it out of the shop with the OBD1 sensor? Or should I just leave it unhooked. We are only talking about the car running maybey for 10 minutes. Any suggestions?

you can leave the knock sensor off and it will still start, just with the CEL on. i know the OBD1 sensors are 3.9k ohms, i dunno about the OBD2
