okay, ive got a laptop for use with my car. now i'm looking to get a scan tool to go with it. there are a few to choose from on ebay for decent prices. i just want to know if anyone bought any of these and if theyre quality items. or if anyone has any general advice for me on getting a decent scan tool. thanks

I use the actron scanner that I got from advanced auto and I love it. I'm sure you can find one on ebay. Model is 9135 I think.

My dad has an OBDII and I wanted to get something to help him out if he has troubles... haven't tested it yet though but it looks pretty cool It comes in a high quality case with a lexan/plexiglass cover so you can see the "guts". Also comes with all the cables which normall run $50 to $100 just on their own.

 

yeah, thats the exact one i was looking at (the digimoto). sounded like an awesome deal. i think i'm gonna go with that one.
