o2 simulators???

o2 simulators???

just purchased the sims,and was wondering if they connect to the wire connection,or to the (hard to unbolt area)other end(bolted area),BECAUSE TRIED THE EASY WIRE END,AND DOES NOT CONNECT AT ALL,SO IF ANY ONE COULD PLEASE HELP,ME I'D APPRECIATE IT?

You should just be able to unplug th 02 sensor, then plug in the sim in place of the 02. Maybe you got the wrong ones??

What year car do you have? I'm thinking, possibly, you're trying to replace the pre-cat 02's with the sims. Do the sims have a square connector and you can't connect to a flat connector?

thats exactly what i need to know,the pre-cats ,and yes they are the square ones....

Still haven't said what year car you have. Sims are for post cat 02's, OBDll, '96-'97. They tell the PCM that the cats are still working if you have deleted them. You don't replace the pre cat 02's with sims. The pre cat 02's give the PCM feedback to determine your A/F ratio for normal driving.

o.k,i have 1997 z-28,i think i found where they go,one down kinda in the middle by the transmission mount,and the other by the passenger side cat...is this correct??

I've had my simms for a few times around the block and they are doing a fine job.
