O2 sensors
My buds got a 98 aLS1 nd he put jet hots on it, his car had 4 sensors on it stock, but he took two of off because the had a new y pipe made,
well the question i'm askin is will the LS1 O2 sensors fit my 95 LT1?
also anyone have any tips on gettin em out?
they might be real rusted in there...
can you compare an "O2 change" to a "spark plug change" ?
harder or worse?
thanks

I am not sure about the compatability issue, I would think they would be the same.
As for swapping them that depends on if they are rusted in there bad or not.
I have had O2 swaps go real easy and then I have done others that even after we removed the manifold and using a LONG breaker bar with 2 people standing on it the O2 would not break loose.
You,ll just have to get in there and see.

different style connectors, but still the same o2 sensor. two wires for the heater, two for the sensor. you'd have to pull the wires and insert them in your connector, should work fine. it would be comparable to a spark plug change, but you just have to do 2 instead of 8 and you will have to watch out for the wires. be sure to put some antisieze on the threads when you reinstall them in your car.
good luck.
good luck.
