O2 sensor cleaning....

How can I clean off my dirty O2 sensors? Is this even possible? Yeah, yeah, I know, "Just buy new ones they are only $50.00" but I'm saving up cash right now for a house so I've been trying to go cheap till after all that is done...back on subject: What cleaning solvent/media to use? Any technique that works better than another? ANY help would be appreciated thanx fellas...

NEVER use chemicals or solvents on the O2 sensors!

If they are simply carbon fouled you may get quicker response from them by cleaning them with a torch... you basically cook the contaminents off.

btw, I think last time I paid about $30 apiece from Dal.
