Im gonna have it scanned after I put the new o2 in monday, that Is if I still get a CEL

 

Got my new Delphi O2 today , Jacked the car up to get the old one off, and it was not as easy as I thought, I ended up going and renting a tool from the autoparts store to remove and none of the 3 sockets would go all the way on the o2 so It ended up wanting to strip out, this was after I had to remove a heat shield from the bottom of the firewall just to get one of them on. I tried getting it from the top and still had no luck removing the o2. Although It's still in there I looked at the wire and plug on the old one and it is burnt to hell, both the o2 side and the plug it connects to, it has a clip on it but It wasnt clipped anywhere and was touching the header collector. I unplugged it until I can get the new one on, How should I expect it to run?
