Not your typical LT1 intake
Not your typical LT1 intake
Check this out
A buddy of mine Lucas is also doing the aftercooler for me. I should have pictures of it tomarrow.
You can get a hold of him at tic5@aol.com
The colors are "Almost Chrome" and red.. Kinda inverted from the typical stuff you see. The last picture just has a chrome header just to show the difference.
He really did an outstanding job, it looks good as hell!!

That color scheme does look really nice, now you need a Throttle Body powdercoated "almost chrome" like this one

Re: Not your typical LT1 intake
Just was curious if he put clear powder over the almost chrome? If he didnt, I recommend he does. The almost chrome looks great but will start to fade and rub off after time.(usually around a month) They mostly recommend almost chrome for a base under candy colors.

yep hes putting clear over it.
I can't wait to get the aftercooler back from him. You know how it has VORTECH raised in the sides? They are going to be done in red.
How hard was the throttlebody to do? Did you take the shaft out to do it? If so how did you get it back in?
