not sucking in seafoam

I was following the tutorial on someone's site about Seafoam, and I thought it was under control. But when I started it up, and tried to have it suck the seafoam down the tube, it didn't go anywhere. Is this supposed to be a suction or gravity feed? Am I missing something? Thanks.

Just undo your brake booster hose and pinch it so the car wont stall. Slowly dip it into the can or pour it into the tube and it will suck it in. No need for a "tutorial" IMO
