I bought a nitrous works wet kit for my lt1 but I heard you need to retard the timing. I have headers, cold air, and put colder pugs in. Will I need to upgrade my ignition? I want to do a 100 shot, and will only use 2 or 3 times a month at the strip. How big of a problem is the timing?

I ran my 100 shot for over a year without any ignition upgrades without any problems.

No ignition upgrades are necessary, but you can get it profesionaly installed so if something blows up you can blame it on them,
