I'm in the middle of taking off my 918's and the reteainers all have some wear on them. My springs and hardware only have 3-4000 miles on them, and I never saw any kind of wear on any other retainers I took off my car. I won't be able to get pictures till wednesday though. They have some minor grooves in them and you can feel them with your finger nails.

It's really a simple question, is it normal for retainers to have some wear on them? It looks like hte springs were spinning in the seats/retainers or something, even the shims have black streaks on them.
