Normal for cai to get hot?

Normal for cai to get hot?

I have the moroso cai and i notice that the plastic on the thing gets hot enough to burn your hands in the summer months. I was wondering if this is normal or if i should do anyhting about it?

its in the engine bay so of course its gonna get a bit hot. are u feeling it while its running or while its off, cuz it will get very hot when u shut the engine off.
