Is this normal?
Is this normal?
When I start my car and run it with the oil fill cap off it runs fine with no smoke. I can take a folded piece of paper and put it on the oil fill tube and it won't fall. The paper will stick and no smoke exits at idle or revving (~3k or so).
When I turn the car off and look down the fill tube, light smoke comes out. Is this normal (extra crankcase pressure being relieved) or is this a problem? The engine does not smoke out of the fill cap when its running, just when the car turns off. Ideas/suggestions?
