noisy power steering pump

my power steering pump is starting to get really noisy(especially when i crank the steering wheel). ive noticed twice in the last month that my powersteering went out while trying to take a turn (turned off the car and restarted and came back on). this is probably an easy question to answer, but does this mean the pump is toast? if so, does anyone know a place to get a pretty good deal on one? also, does anyone know a good install site? not that it would be too terribly difficult to do, its just always easier to do it after you see (or read) how. again, the answer i think is pretty obvious, just thought i'd ask anyways. i think getting LT's is inevitable due to constant repairs! thanks for the help guys.
dave

if this matters, ive got 105k on pump (not on motor, spun a bearing at 82k!)

im prolly not 100% correct because im not a tech wiz when it comes to our motor nor other ones, but my pump was always pretty noisy at full turn and about 3 months ago the pulley's shaft bent and i went to get a used one with like 15k from a local yard for less then $50
