Noise in rear when braking PLZ help

i recently had a problem with noise in the rear end of my car when going over any sort of bump. got under the car and found the rear right bushing for the shock was torn to shreds and hanging half way out. so, went out and got new shocks, replaced em in one hour, no biggie

then when i took it out for a test drive i went over bumps purposely looking for noises, ahhhhhh.....silence. but then when coming down a really bad bumpy road i started to brake coming up on a red light. all of a sudden i'm hearing the noises in the rear, its like a clunking more then anything.

the car is still like this and i cant figure it out for the life of me. i lubricated the spring perches as some people have told me might help, but no luck. there are no other broken or badly worn out bushings or anything like that in the rear end. but it makes me wonder if it is a broken coil spring due to the fact i only hear the noises when braking, because that is when the spring is fully depressed, when all the weight is going towards the front.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks
