Hi, thought I had egr problems ,now my 96 m6 will not start ,I have power,but it will not spin at all, I can hear pump prime ,but it seems like a heavy click noise near trunk open button, when key is turned to start,Thanks ,Baffled

 

Sounds like something that just happend to me two days ago, turned out to be the starter. Car had power and fuel just would not turn over or crank. Least yours didnt let you sit at a gas station at 11 o'clock at night till 1 in the morning.
