no spark from opti.........

background.
New opti in begin of '05, GM opti. Ran fine for the last couple years, well I stopped driving the car and got me a DD and have had the car parked the last 4 months. Well every week I go out and start it up and let it idle for a couple minutes then shut it off. Anyway I sell me DD yesterday afternoon and go jump in the camaro to go to the gas station............
Car has some hiccups on the way there under WOT, but other wise drives fine.
So when I go to leave, the car wont start Twice it tried to start, other then that, nothing.
So I pull a plug wire off and try to start the car, No spark. Then pull the plug wire off the coil and put it near the head, try starting the car, no spark either.

What else, think it is the opti? What else could it be? What else should I try?
Sorry for the length of this

Well I have messed with this car all day to no avail.
After using the test light and voltmeter, going by shbox site and the sticky at the top of this section for opti diagnosis, I ended up with the ICM being in question. So I went to advanced and got a new coil and ICM ( both were under warranty, so free replacement ) and I still have the same problem!

There is no spark anywhere in the system and all the wires come back good. The only one that was a problem was the green wire that goes from the ICM to coil, seemed to be loose. Sometimes I would check it and would come back with 12 volts, other times nothing. Was loose in the harness, just pushed it back in, and was fine from there on out.
Is there anything in particular I can do that will prove it is the opti?

quote off shbox site """"""""If you have good voltage, switch the meter to ac scale and connect test leads to terminal "B" and to ground. Observe meter while cranking the engine. You should see between 1 and 4 volts ac (those are the pulses that trigger the coil to fire).""""""""""

I did that and it came back with 1.1-1.6 .
I just dont understand ( and it doesnt say on anysite, atleast that I noticed ) if everything checked out fine what it could be?
