Lightbulb no o2s

any one ever run your car with the o2s unpluged. mine went out so i unpluged them. will it hurt anything?

It will run pig rich and get crapy gas mileage. But it really wont hurt anything, i guess you could foul a plug. I would just get some new one from Jason Cromer for around $40 each.

ive been running it for about 2 weeks like this. getting 17mpg on all hwy runs.

Since the computer can't sense the O2's, it'll run in open loop. It'll be just like running your car for the first few minutes on a cold start up when you're usually in open loop.

my buddy had that done to his v6
i remember when i was driving that thing, it would feel like it wants to die and you either had to push the pedal to the floor or it wouldn't move
very unpredictable at first
maybe he had other problems though, i'd just replace them if it was me

dont have the money to replace them right now. but it runs fine. just doesnt get good mpg. my car is an 89 but the motor is a 95 iron head.

Well mine arent being read right from burnt wires and it does the same thing, if you touch the throttle to lightly it stumbles a bit, but when you give it 1/4 or more its fine. I'd replace asap.
