Question No Dampner on Underdrive Crank Pulley?

i see on the stock crank pulley there is a dampner. On my aftermarket underdrive pulley there isn't any. Will this cause any problems down the road, and is the crank able to take all the vibrations or stress that the the dampner would of been absorbing. I ask because I cracked my crank in my old honda prelude and it was attributed to the underdrive crank pulley among a few other htings...

You bolt the stock crank pulley onto the underdrive pulley

BTW: look at the underdrive pulley and the stock pulley, and the hub, there will be a place on each that is marked, make sure to line all these up.

yes it will cause problems, you have to piggyback the stock pulley/balancer on top of the underdrive. make sure the bolts are long enough.

you bolt the underdrive pulley in between the factory balancer and the hub. the balancer is still there to absorb the vibrations but you run the belt on the underdrive crank pulley. do you understand?

I bought the car with the underdrive crank pulley already on and it is sandwiched between the stock pulley and the block. I was just a little worried as I don't want my new baby to be hurt for a couple of hp... I just figured if the belt is on the underdrive pulley and the dampner is on the stock pulley, then the vibrations would not get absorbed. I always thought the dampner absorbed the vibrations and not the balancer. Right now I don't fully understand and I will have to take a closer look at it to understand what you guys are saying.. Once I look at it closer again, I'm sure i will get it!. Based on your guys knowledge though, the bottom line is that it is ok to use.
Thanks evryone!

The stock pulley "is" the damper. Your set up is exactly the way it's supposed to be.
