no converter

i bought a 95z28 has a few modifications but i have noticed that the car has no cat converter. will this hurt the performance i would think it would help but on these lt1s i am not for sure. it has not tripped any lights on the dash though. just wondering

If it hasn't tripped a code you are fine as long as you don't have emission testing in your area.
