My question is if i gut my cat will i gain any horsepower, also will it change the sound of the exhaust?

 

Yes and yes,maybe 5hp tops.A deeper tone for sure.

 

this is a very debatable topic. youll prolly hear alot of people say it doesnt matter. i disagree. i belive is does help a little in NA application and even more so on a N2O app.

i gutted mine with the stock exhaust and it does change the sound a little, but nothing drastic. when i got my SLP cat back though, well it sounds like a beast now.


on a mostly stock NA app., your prolly looking at 5-10hp. nothing crazy, BUT hp is hp and once you start modding it will make more of a difference.
