No ASR, without losing ABS???

Anybody gotten rid of your ASR system, while still retaing the ABS system? I have heard that if you get rid of it, you lose the ABS or something like that. So, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you get a abs contol unit from a non asr car you can just swap it out and wala you have abs again. We did it to my buddies 97 and I am doing it to my 95 over the winter.

Peace

Wow, that was a real simple solution that i never thought of, thank you for saying that. How much do those things cost brand new? I bet an arm and a leg? I guess finding one from a junked car would be best.
