My Kumho 716 HP4 tires have about 15,000miles on them. In a month or two I was planning on replacing the rear tires with Nitto 555r's. According to the tirerack.com website and nittotire.com, the Nitto's are going to make my car 1/2" lower in the rear than up front. Is this going to be noticable? How many of you run DR's in the rear and generic tires up front? I don't want to have to buy new front tires if at all possible.

 

I ran 275/40/17 Goodyear F1s up front with 245/50/16 Nittos 555r for awhile. You won't see any difference if you get the same tire diameter (ie 25.6" diameter). 245/50/16=275/40/17=315/35/17
