Nitto NT-555R Drag Radial Tires

are Nitto NT-555R Drag Radial Tires good in the rain. I mean if you drive normally. Also do they last a long time. Like If I bought some today will they last me to the end of this summer??

When they're new they're good in the rain.. after being used, they are not fun....

I get about 10K miles out of them being fairly aggressive... I've heard from 5K to 20K miles on these tires...

Most people get 10-15k miles out of them on normal driving and ocassional track use. Depending on how your car is set up I wouldn't recomend them in the rain. On a mostly stock car with stock gearing they may be ok. I have 275/40/17 Nitto dr's for the street worn about 50%, along with the M6 and 4:10's they have scared the **** out of me when I got caught on the highway in the rain I wouldn't use them on mine if it was a daily driver, I would have wrecked it by now I'm pretty sure.

I've used them for daily drivers, and they are fine in the rain as long as you have tread left.

I've driven in the rain a few times and they have been fine. But I just got mine, like 300 miles ago.

4K and still looking good. I hardly ever burn them on the street. I have around 20 track pulls. Still pretty good in the rain.

Mine were better in the rain then my half worn street radials that I replaced. After about 8-10K miles on them though, it gets a bit scary. As long as you have tread they are great! I have almost 15K on mine now and they are pretty much shot.
