I have Nitto DRs.
Having said that, buy the BFGs.
Nittos will last a little longer but BFGs will hook better.
I plan on going with the BFG DRs when I need new ones.

That depends on track conditions, the setup on your car, and so many other variables that there is no way to tell you exactly.
Trial and error is the only way to tell what pressure your car likes best.
I would start at 20 and go down from there, I personally don,t like to run less than 15.

Ditto!! I couldn't get my Nitto's to hook for anything.

For a track only drag radial go with the BFG's. And as mentioned I'd start with 20psi and work down. ET Streets do hook better than the BFG's.

I think its definitely a trade-off. Everyone I know that has used BFGs, gets about 3000 miles out of them. I have yet to see anyone get more than that. The nittos will last a good 10K. Now, you could get more out of the BFGs, if you don't do burnouts or race, but why buy a sticky tire which needs to be heated up (burnout) to hook (race). No sense. While there are people cutting 1.6s and better on drs, I'd say nittos are the best compromise. 1.8s fairly easy and they last a while. I'd discount e.t. streets as a slick unless you don't drive in the rain at all. At least I wouldn't.
